Enrichment
Summer Solstice at the Burton Barr LibraryArizona Quest for Kids involves enrichment activities that focus on broadening the life experiences of youth, participation in community service, and growth in personal development. Enrichment activities consist of events or forums that open a student's mind beyond his every day community. Activities include, but are not limited to: art/culture, science, technology, environmental, and career exploration. Students may also participate in educational, and/or academic enrichment activities in the summer through Arizona State University's Office of the Vice President for Education Partnerships keeping them engaged and active throughout the year in positive peer groups.
Arizona Quest for Kids instills the knowledge that anyone can positively impact a community through volunteering, engaging them early in giving back to their communities. Arizona Quest for Kids challenges elementary/middle school students to participate in community service activities and each elementary/middle school site participates in an annual community service learning project.
